We are a team of all volunteers who are dedicated to providing a much needed rescue and information resource for reptiles in Alaska!

THERE IS A DESPERATE NEED FOR RESCUE OF REPTILES ALASKA REPTILE RESCUE HELPS TO PROVIDE THIS

Since 2004 Alaska Reptile Rescue has rescued many animals; 63 snakes, 21 iguanas, 4 aquatic turtles, 2 african clawed frogs, a tortoise, a gecko, an anole (lizzard) and yes, even an alligator (click here to read more about Sadie, the alligator). Animals keep coming in from private homes, from animal shelters and from local vets.

Caring for reptiles takes special knowledge and dedication. We want to be a source for information for people who:
are looking to buy and exotic reptile as a pet or as a gift for someone. You will find information that common pet stores often do not provide, pointing at the special needs of these animals and the things that can go wrong. So you can decide if you are able to guarantee your animal the right care.
already own an animal and are experiencing problems. We can help provide ways to get your animal back to health.
